Arlan M. Olinger, 76, of Spring Township, died May 16, 2014 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
He was the husband of Dolores Ann (Tkac) Olinger, whom he married June 2, 1962.
Born February 7, 1938 in his Maidencreek Township home, he was a son of the late Paul W. and Alice M. (Moyer) Olinger.
He was a 1955 graduate of Fleetwood High School.
Arlan attended GT Church, Spring Township.
He worked as a systems analyst for a number of different companies before retiring from Core States Bank in 2000.
Arlan is also survived by three daughters: Sharon M. Hudak of Forty-Fort, Luzerne County; Beth A., wife of Andrew F. Fick of Spring Township and Debora K., wife of Todd R. Bube, of Spring Township.
Other survivors include five grandchildren: A.J., Amanda and Lucas Fick and Sara and Lauren Hudak.
There are four brothers surviving: Lloyd of Lady Lake, Florida; Harold of Charlottesville, VA; Curtis of Fleetwood and Warren of Oley. He is also survived by brother-in-law Thomas Weaver of Spring Township, who was like a brother to him.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, May 23rd at 11:00 am in GT Church, 1110 Snyder Road, Reading, PA 19609. There will be no public viewing.
