Ariel Agosto

Ariel Agosto, 61, Reading, died of natural causes Aug. 8 at 1:37 p.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center.

He was the husband of Adelfa (Sanchez) Agosto.

Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Pedro Agosto Sr. and Juana Paula (Delgado) Agosto.

Agosto was employed for 31 years as a machine operator by Exide Corp., Muhlenberg Township, retiring in 2004.

He is also survived by a daughter, Claudia (Agosto) Torres, Reading.

Other survivors include a brother, Aurelio, Reading; and two sisters, Carmen (Agosto) Clemente, Reading, and Asuncion (Agosto) Santana, in Puerto Rico.

There is also a grandson.

Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Friends may call from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m on Thursday at the Kuhn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
