Antonio Donatelli

Antonio Donatelli, 84, of Reading, passed away May 12, 2016, at Keystone Villa at Douglassville.

He was the husband of Aurelia A. (Kaluzny) Donatelli.

Born in West Hamburg, he was a son of the late Antonio and Maria (Amicone) Donatelli.

He was a 1949 graduate of Hamburg High School and attended Albright College.

He was a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1952-1954 during the Korean Conflict.

Antonio was an independent contractor for Primerica Insurance and Securities. He previously worked for Polymer Corporation and Reading Technical Coatings.

He was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Antonio was former secretary and president of the Northwest Swimming Associates. In the 1970's he became a member of the Berks County Senior Citizens Council and active in local politics.

He had a great love of Italy and for his family.

He is survived by four children: Anita; Anthony; Adrienne and Alan. Three sisters: Jeanette; Antoinette and Lolita; eight grandchildren: Lisa; Jennifer; Susan; Amanda; Kate;Stephen; Alexandra and Kelsey and three great-grandchildren: Colin; Elizabeth and Annabelle also survive him.

He was predeceased by his twin great-grandsons: Ethan and Tyler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Margaret's R.C. Church, 925 Centre Ave, Reading, PA 19601. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum.
