Antonio Costa, 80, of Reading, died June 26, 2012 in Spruce Manor Nursing Center, West Reading.

He was the husband of Lucia (Alessi) Costa, whom he married July 20, 1967.

Born in Spadafora, Sicily on January 17, 1932, he was a son of the late Francesco and Grazia (Ferrara) Costa.

Antonio was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Antonio was employed 10 years with the Italian Carabiniere Police Force in Italy.

He was later employed 17 years with Reading Grey Iron Foundry, Reading and another 15 years with Berks Heim, Bern Township before retiring.

Antonio is also survived by two daughters: Maria, wife of A. Judd Woytek of Allentown and Susan Beddall of Reading.

Other survivors include four siblings: Gregorio, husband of Nina (Alessi) Costa of Sicily, Italy; Concetta Costa of Reading; Flavia (Costa), widow of Nino Carabello of Philadelphia and Rosemarie (Costa), wife of Saverio Romualdi of Reading.

There are also two grandchildren: Andrew Jacob Woytek and Natalie Alessi Woytek and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Pietro Costa.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 am in Holy Rosary R.C. Church, 3rd & Franklin Streets, Reading. A viewing will be held Friday from 8:30 - 9:30 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
