Antonino B. Brigandi

Antonino B. Brigandi, 85, of Wyomissing, died April 3, 2013, surrounded by his loving family in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Grazia (La Fauci) Brigandi.

Born in Monferto Marina, Messina, Sicily, Italy, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Giuseppa (Imbesi) Brigandi.

He was a veteran of the Italian Army.

Antonino was self-employed in Italy as a truck driver for 20 years. He was employed for 10 years by North American Rockwell, retiring in 1983.

He loved Italian soccer and gardening.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Salvatore, husband of Antonella Brigandi; and Pina, wife of Alessandro Ugliuzza; seven siblings: Carmelo, Salvatore, Domenico, Felice, Stefana Saja, Maria Sindoni and Fileppa De Gaetano, all of Italy; two grandchildren, Rosemarie Reider and Nino Brigandi and two great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 322 S. 5th St., Reading, PA 19602. Friends may call Saturday from 8 to 9 a.m. in Edward J.
