Antonie K. Spina

Antonie K. Spina, 85, formerly of Reading, died July 26 at 1:30 a.m. in the Highlands at Wyomissing, where she had resided since Sept. 27.

Her husband, Ben Spina, died Oct. 4.

Born in Schamburg, Germany, she was a daughter of the late George and Frieda (Rombach) Kopf.

Spina was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

She was a 1938 graduate of Wyomissing High School.

Surviving is a daughter, Teresa (Spina) Friedmann, Wyomissing.

Other survivors include four grandchildren and a great-grandson.

She was predeceased by a son, Arno Spina, in 2002.

Services will be private. Entombment will be private in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
