Antoinette J. Bereczki

Antoinette J. (Leone) Bereczki, 82, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023, in the care of Laureldale Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was the widow of Joseph Bereczki, who passed away in 1995.

She was born in Reading to the late Samuel and Theresa (Borelli) Leone. She graduated from Reading High School in 1959.

Antoinette was a dedicated wife and mother. She treasured raising her children as well as babysitting her nieces and nephews, and later in life, her grandchildren. She loved to sew and over the years made many outfits and costumes for her daughters.

A member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Antoinette volunteered for many years for National Shut-In Visitation Day.

She was a longtime member of TOPS.

She is survived by her daughters, Suzanna M. Symons, wife of Christopher, with whom Antoinette resided, and Antoinette T. Bereczki of Reading; her grandchildren, Juanita Bereczki, Stephanie Kersikoski, and Christopher J. Symons; and her great grandchildren, Harrison, Greyson, and Jameson. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and their families.

In addition to her husband, Joseph, Antoinette was predeceased by her sister, Frances M. Huey, and her brothers, Samuel, John, and Robert Leone.

A Prayer Service will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple PA 19560, with committal to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
