Antje M. Johns

Antje M. Johns, 85, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025, at Providence Place in Pottsville. Born in Celle, Germany, she was the daughter of Joachim and Herta Wolf.

Antje was the beloved wife of Thomas R. Johns III, with whom she shared 64 wonderful years of love and partnership.

She dedicated her professional life to the field of finance, serving as a respected bank manager. Outside of work, Antje had a deep passion for spending time with her family. Being a Grandmother brought her immense joy. She also enjoyed sewing, gardening. baking, and getting together with friends to play cards—bridge being her favorite. She took great joy in celebrating German Christmas traditions and loved traveling throughout Europe, particularly returning to her homeland of Germany.

In addition to her husband, Antje is survived by her sons, Thomas R. Johns IV (Carla), of Chalfont, PA, and Morgan E. Johns (Susan), of Leesport. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Tom, Matt, Margaret Clay (Dane), Kylie Madore (Ryan), Anna Weber (Aaron), Emily, Jack, Lucy, Evan, Lillian Hoff (Nick),Reese, Mary, and William Johns. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Kadyn, Emma, Maise, Sawyer, Julia, Lucas, and James.

She is also survived by her loving siblings, Barbara Reid, Madeline Greer, and Birgit Gärtner.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
