Anthony N. Weniger

Anthony N. Weniger, 7, of Sinking Spring, passed away January 17, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Reading, he was the son of Kimberly L. Weniger and Jason A. Kissinger.

Anthony attended Brecknock Elementary, where he enjoyed being around his friends and teachers.

He was a kind and very humorous child. Anthony loved dogs, dancing, entertaining, playing video games and most especially being with his family. He was a sports enthusiast,especially for football and basketball. He was very active in Governor Mifflin sports.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Walter, husband of Wanda Weniger, Sinking Spring; aunt, Courtney Weniger, Sinking Spring; great-grandparents, Charles, husband of Frances Goss, Bernville; Elaine Weniger, California; and Konrad, husband of Maria Weniger, California. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 3:30 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be Friday January 22, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery.
