Anthony J. Norris

Anthony J. Norris, 77, died June 2, 2010 in his Wyomissing residence. He was the husband of Frances (Brancoccio) Norris.

Born in County Kildare, Ireland, he was a son of the late Michael and Kathleen (Fennel) Norris.

He was a veteran of the US Army.

Anthony was retired from Acme Markets.

He is survived by his five children, Michael J., West Reading; Sharon M. Halter, Wyomissing; Maureen P., wife of Joseph Crompton, Folcroft, PA; Catherine J. Kacprzycki, Bethlehem and Melissa A., wife of Kevin M. Quinter, Wyomissing. There are also four siblings, Patrick and Christopher, both of England; Joseph, Ireland and Kathy Zappone, Philadelphia. Eleven grandchildren and one great-grandson also survive him.

A visitation will be held Monday from 2:30 to 3 p.m. with words of remembrance to follow at 3 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: The Children's Tumor Foundation, 95 Pine Street, 16th Floor, New York, N.Y. 10005 (in honor of Anthony Norris - Adam's Angels).
