Anthony "Nino" R. Ettaro

Anthony "Nino" R. Ettaro, Jr., 88, passed away on January 14, 2021, at The

Highlands, Wyomissing. He was the husband of Gloria M. (Sebio) who died

August 13th, 2008.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Anthony Ettaro, Sr. and

Carmella (Aiello) Ettaro. Anthony was a 1950 graduate of Reading High

School. He was a co-owner and operator of Ettaro's Bakery, Reading. He

was also the manager at Victor Emmanuel II for many years.

Nino served on the Board of Directors for Victor Emmanuel II for over 25

years. He was a lifetime member of the Beneficial Society. Nino loved

sports, especially football, bowling and golf. He also enjoyed gambling,

horse racing, playing cards and enjoying food. He especially enjoyed spending time with his

children and grandchildren.

Nino is survived by his three children: Nina M. (Ettaro) Wieland,

Sinking Spring; Mark A. Ettaro, husband of Sheri(Calvaresi), Exeter; and Nila A.

(Ettaro) Sedoti, wife of Gene, Reading.

He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Kristi Wieland, Nicole

(Ettaro) Angstadt, wife of Andrew, Dr. Matthew Ettaro, husband of Lauren (Seibert)

and Michael, Jessica and Nino Sedoti. There

are two great-grandchildren: Carson and Harper Ettaro.

Nino was predeceased by four siblings: James, John, Sam Ettaro and Mary(Ettaro)Jablonski. He

was also predeceased by one grandson, Gene Sedoti.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 11

a.m. at the Church of St. Benedict's, 2020 Chestnut Hill Road, Mohnton.

Friends may call Monday, January 18 from 6-8 pm at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral

Home, Inc., West Reading, and Tuesday, January 19 from 10-11 am at the Church of St.

Benedict's. Entombment will follow at Gethsemane Mausoleum, 3139

Kutztown Road, Laureldale.
