Anthony Lavigna

Anthony Lavigna, 84, died Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at 1:06 pm in his Muhlenberg Township residence.

He was the husband of Dolores A. (Pacifico) Lavigna, whom he married September 27, 1985.

Born in Reading on December 26, 1921, he was a son of the late Anthony Lavigna, Sr., and Pompilia (Farella) Lavigna.

He was employed 37 years as a repairman with Conrail, Reading, retiring in 1981.

Anthony is also survived by a son, Michael Lavigna of Hyde Park and a daughter, Joni Lavigna of Reading.

Other survivors include two step-sons; Joseph Albright of Spring Township and Bradley Albright of Philadelphia.

He is also survived by two sisters, Helen (Lavigna) Benz of Reading and Josephine (Lavigna) Maggiaro of Muhlenberg Township.

There are three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four step grandchildren and one step great grandson.

Prayer Services will be Friday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. Viewing will be held one hour prior to services.
