Anthony George Krallis

Anthony G. Krallis, 91, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025 in his Reading home.

He was the loving husband of Maria (Vougamalis) Krallis. They were married on July 19, 1959 and shared over 65 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late George A. Krallis and Maria (Arvanitellis) Krallis.

He was a graduate of Reading High School in 1951. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

Anthony worked at Carpenter for 28 years retiring in 1995.

He was a longtime, devoted member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Nicholas A. and George A., both of Reading. There is one brother, George, husband of Terese Krallis, Cherry Hill, NJ. Numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and Godchildren also survive him.

He was predeceased by four siblings: Manuel, Athens, Peter, and Demetrio.

Anthony was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed following Reading High football and basketball. Church, faith, and family were the hallmarks of his life.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 E. Wyomissing Blvd, Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be at Charles Evans Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Contributions may be made to the church at the above address. Edward J.
