Anthony Thomas Davis

Anthony Thomas "Tony" Davis, 57, of Mohnton, passed away June 4, 2016.

He was partner of Thomas M. Dellinger, with whom he resided.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was a son of the late Vernon Davis and Anna (D'Agostino) Lichau. Tony was predeceased by his step-father, André M. Lichau.

He was a graduate of Alvernia University, receiving a bachelor's degree in nursing.

Tony worked as a hospice nurse for Berks Visiting Nurse for 30 years, last working on Friday.

Tony volunteered for many years for the American Cancer Society. He facilitated the Man to Man support groups for patients diagnosed with prostate cancer.

He was an avid world traveler; most recently vacationed to Ireland with his sister Rosemary.

Tony was a wonderful cook. His great sense of humor, friendly personality, caring nature and love of his family will be greatly missed.

He is survived by three siblings: Rosemary, wife of Steven Gaul, Bernville; Andrea Stetler, Cummings, GA, and William Davis, SC. One nephew, David, husband of Robin Hoyer; one great-nephew, Joseph Hoyer; three great-nieces: Liberty, Samantha and Emily, all of Fayetteville, NC; one aunt, Josephine D'Agostino; one cousin, Mark D'Agostino, both of Wyomissing, and his step-mother, Alice Davis, NC also survive him.

Services will be Wednesday at 12 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
