Anthony F. Cernobyl

Anthony F. Cernobyl, 94, of West Reading, died March 13, 2007 in Pine Brook Personal Care Home, Orwigsburg.

His wife Clementine M. (Kaintz) Cernobyl died September 22, 2003.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John and Maria (Lauf) Cernobyl.

Anthony was employed by Weave Corp, Denver, PA for 18 years retiring in 1978. Previously, he was a weaver for the former Stunzi's Silk, Ephrata.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Anthony was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his daughter, Barbara A. Kershner, Orwigsburg. There are also two grandsons and one great granddaughter. Several nieces and nephews also survive him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum. A viewing will be held Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J.
