Anthony Albert

Anthony "Tony" Albert, 90, formerly of Wyomissing, died December 21, 2018, at ManorCare, Laureldale.

His wife, Caroline C. (Konpelski) Albert died April 2, 2003.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Joseph and Sarah (DeCarlo) Albert.

A Reading High School graduate in 1946, he served in the Air Force from 1946 to 1949. Tony earned a BS in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University in 1953.

He was a special projects engineer for Carpenter for 22 years, retiring in 1986.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 28, 2018, at 10 a.m. at the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery with entombment to follow. Edward J.
