Annie Salome Moyer

Annie Salome (Kramer) Moyer, 91, of Hamburg, passed away on May 29, 2025, at Complete Care at Berkshire.

Her husband, Leon Cyrus Moyer, passed away on February 9, 2023.

Born in Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late Edgar R. and Mantana S. (Kunkel) Kramer.

Annie was employed at various knitting mills in Hamburg and later dedicated a decade of her career to serving others as a nurse's aide at the Hamburg Center.

She enjoyed baking for the Shoemakersville Seniors' Organization, watching the Phillies, sitting on the front porch, playing bingo, building jigsaw puzzles, doing word search puzzles, and playing any card game.

Family and faith were important to Annie. She was a longtime member of Saint John's Host Church in Bernville and regularly attended Bethany Church in Hamburg and, more recently, Reading Riverview Christian Fellowship.

She is survived by two children, Edgar Moyer (Donna) and Denise Detweiler (Darryl); three grandchildren: Chad, Kelly, and Erik; and five great-grandchildren: Olivia, Stella, Cameron, Huntley, and Tessa.

Annie was predeceased by her son, David Moyer, in 2005, and seven siblings: Lillian, Carl, Clifford, Luther, Mae, Lena, and Nevin.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Caring Hospice for the excellent care they provided in her final days at Complete Care at Berkshire.

Funeral services for Annie will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 40 South Fourth Street, Hamburg, PA. A second visitation will occur on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Saint John's Host Cemetery, 80 Host Church Rd., Bernville, PA 19506.
