The greatest gift like no other comes from God, we call her Mom. Annette Jackson Williams, better known as Net Net by her grandchildren and closest friends.
She was the middle child born to the late Lloyd Jackson Sr. of Goochland, VA, and Grace of Wyomissing, PA, in Richmond, VA, on November 23, 1959. Softly and tenderly, she departed this life to be at home with her Lord and Savior on May 11th, 2024.
Prior to the age of two, her mother relocated to Reading, Pennsylvania. Annette was educated in the PA school system, graduating from Wyomissing High School in 1977. Annette came to know the Lord as her personal Savior at the age of 12, being baptized at Union Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Reverend Nathan Gore. She was active in Sunday school, the junior choir, and the Young Musicians Club. She received awards from the church for raising money for the junior choir robes.
Annette was last employed by Dr. Allen as a nanny and caretaker to his children and wife. Annette truly enjoyed and loved her family. She loved dancing and spending quality time with her family. She will always be remembered as a loving person with a beautiful smile who was always willing to help someone in need. She enjoyed telling stories, laughter, sunshine, the beach, watching movies, and reading good books! She was such a good grandmother and never held back from giving herself to her grandchildren.
Net Net is survived by her devoted mother, Grace Davies Rodwell, of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her loving sons, Antonio Kakaleles (Suzette) of Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania, and Andre Jackson of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, as well as her daughter, Grace Woolen, and son-in-law, Brandon, of La Plata, Maryland.
She leaves behind a brother, Lloyd Jackson Jr. of Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania, a sister, Joy Davies of Bernville, Pennsylvania, and a sister by choice, Maddie Pacifico of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.
Additionally, she is survived by her uncle, Arthur Jackson (Ruby), of Goochland, Virginia, and her great uncle, Nathan Cooley, of Reading, Pennsylvania.
She leaves to cherish her memories with her grandchildren, Izayah, Nayaliz, Aaliyah, Landon, Langston, Lawson, Lincoln, Andre Jr., Saniyah, Khadeem, and Sincere, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is predeceased by her father, Lloyd Jackson Sr., her fathers by choice, Walter Davies and Edward Rodwell, her brother, Lindsay Jackson, and her maternal grandparents, Robert and Anna Cooley Jackson, and her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Gracie Jackson, all of Goochland County, Virginia.
The Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 11 AM at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611. The burial will follow at Charles Evans Cemetery Mausoleum, Reading. The visitation will begin at 10 AM until the time of the service.
