Annette H. Coleman, 76, of Spring Township, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2011 in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township, where she had been a resident for 7 years.

She was the wife of Donald R. Coleman, whom she married July 24, 1954.

Born September 20, 1934 in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Rudolph and Anna (Hettinger) Achenbach.

Annette was a 1952 graduate of Wilson High School and attended Mansfield University, Mansfield.

She was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church, West Lawn, where she was a member of the Caring Community Committee, the Sunday School Class Treasurer and was the director of the Needle Work and Craft Circle.

Annette was past President of Green Valley Country Club Ladies Auxiliary, President of Spring Lawn Women's Club; President of Wilson Football Mother's Club and a member of the Reading Barbershoppers Chorus Auxiliary.

She served as a volunteer for ManorCare Health Services, Sinking Spring for 20 years, making her an original volunteer. She also volunteered for Landis Farm Museum, Lancaster.

In addition to her husband, Annette is survived by her sons, Michael A. Coleman of Portland, OR and Christopher D. Coleman of Pittsburgh and her daughters, Amy B. (Coleman) Cruley of West Lawn and Abby E. (Coleman) Ohlinger of Sinking Spring.

Other survivors include a brother, R. Timothy Achenbach of Sinking Spring, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, March 12, at 12 p.m. in West Lawn United Methodist Church, 15 Woodside Avenue, West Lawn, PA 19609. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service in the church. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
