Annetta E. Roth

Annetta E. (Hill) Roth, 90, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010 in her Wernersville residence.

She was the widow of Harrison Roth, who passed away March 23, 2007.

Born in Ruscombmanor Township, she was a daughter of the late Kirby and Nettie (Schappell) Hill.

She was a 1937 graduate of Oley High School and attended Kutztown State Teacher's College.

Annetta was employed as a sales clerk, for over 30 years, by Wilhelm's Hardware, Myerstown until her retirement in 2004.

She was a talented pianist, playing for the Antioch Baptist Church.

Annetta was a devout Christian, and attended Maranatha Baptist Church, Sinking Spring.

She is survived by her three children: Glen B. Hostetter, Wernersville; Carl R. Hostetter, Lititz and Joan C. Jauch, Sinking Spring. She is also survived by her brother, Ralph K. Hill, Oley. There are ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren surviving.

The viewing will be held Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. followed by the service at 1:30 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery, Oley, PA.
