Annelise Kuld Smith

Annelise Kuld Nielsen Smith, 84, passed away on November 22, 2021 at her home. She was the wife of the late Col. Charles J. Smith. They shared over 51 wonderful years of marriage.

Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, she was the daughter of Valde Nielsen and Else Kuld Nielsen. She became a fashion model as a young woman, later moving to the United States with her husband Charlie where she was an independent antique dealer. Annelise had a passion for fashion, art collecting, and her dog Daisy. She also loved spending time with her friends, Wyomissing football, and took great pride in her home country of Denmark.

She is survived by her son Charles "Ty" Smith, his wife Lori, and grandchildren: Hunter, Evan, Collin, and Tyler of Wyomissing. She is also survived by her cousins Dorte Knud Rathje and cousin Elo Nielsen both of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Burial and memorial will be private at a date determined by family at Washington Crossings National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.
