Anne Marie Roth

Anne Marie (Murphy) Roth, 84, of Wernersville, PA, passed away on her 65th wedding anniversary to Bernard J. Roth Sr. on April 21, 2016 at Berks Heim, Bern Township.

Bernard currently resides at Mifflin Center Shillington, PA.

Anne Marie was born March 13, 1932, in Minersville, Schuylkill County, she was the daughter of the late

Michael P. Murphy and Loretta W. (Brennan) Murphy.

Anne Marie was a 1950 graduate of Pottsville High School.

She is retired from nursing and house making.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

She enjoyed crocheting and reading.

Anne Marie is survived by her son, Bernard J. Roth Jr., husband of Colleen (Brant) Roth of West Reading, PA and two granddaughters, Mary Elizabeth Roth of Camp Hill, PA and Megan Margaret Roth of West Reading, PA.

Anne Marie was predeceased by her son, Michael G. Roth in 1978, and by her sister Ursula(Murphy) Klassen and her brother, Thomas Murphy.

The family would like to thank the entire staff of Unit A3 of Berks Heim for the excellent care provided to Anne Marie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Ignatius Loyola R.C.Church, 2810 St. Alban's Dr., Sinking Spring, PA 19608. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
