Anne Elizabeth Nyari

Anne E. Nyari, 78, of Mohnton, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, in the care of the Reading Hospital after a sudden illness. She was the loving wife of Ronald J. Nyari, Sr., with whom she celebrated 55 years of happy marriage.

Born in Philadelphia to the late Frank and Eleanor (Cole) Cody, Anne graduated from Lincoln High School in 1962. She and Ron raised their family in Philadelphia, and relocated to the Reading area in the early 2000's where they began attending the Church of St. Benedict.

Anne was incredibly creative and very artistic. Talented in needlepoint, she was a gifted seamstress, often making her own clothing and embroidering scenery. She also painted and whittled. In addition to her craftiness, she commanded a beautiful voice and sang with the Sweet Adalines.

Left to treasure her memory is her husband, Ron; their children, Michelle E. Hawkins (Jarett) of Okeechobee, FL, and Ronald J. Nyari, Jr. (Judy) of Philadelphia; grandsons Kevin and Jeffrey Lopergolo; and great grandchildren Conan and Veronica Lopergolo. Anne was predeceased by her brother, Steve Cody, who is survived by his wife, Monica.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Benedict, 2020 Chestnut Hill Rd, Mohnton, PA 19540, with burial to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Philadelphia. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects beginning at 9:00 a.m. the church.
