Anne Mcdevitt

LAnne McDevitt, 75, Reading, died Jan. 13 in St. Joseph Medical Center, where she had been a patient since Jan. 5.

She was the wife of Leon N. McDevitt.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anne (Ratajczak) Larkin.

McDevitt was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

She was a 1948 graduate of Central Catholic High School.

McDevitt was a Naval Reservist during World War II.

She also is survived by two daughters, Mary L. (McDevitt) Ohlinger, Wyomissing, and Anne M. (McDevitt) Welsh, Shillington; and four sons: Leon N. Jr. and James F., both of Shillington; Mark J., Reading; and Stephen F., Mohrsville.

There are also 14 grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Joseph T., in 1987.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's RC Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements
