Anne Marie Reedy, 79, of Muhlenberg Township, beloved daughter, sister and aunt, died April 6, 2012 in Reading Hospital.

Born September 25, 1932, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harry George and Anna A. (Sauer) Reedy.

Anne was employed as an executive secretary to the president of Dana Corporation for 46 years, retiring June of 1997.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park, where, since her retirement, she contributed hundreds of hours of volunteer work for the parish.

Ann Marie (MiMi) enjoyed following sports, cheering for the Phillies, Eagles and 76ers along with the University of Notre Dame.

Surviving is a brother, John Anthony, widower of Marie T. (Matkowski) Reedy of Reading and Joseph J., husband of Jeanette (Stacherski) Reedy of Muhlenberg Township.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry G., husband of Joan (Noll), Reedy of Lincoln Park and a nephew, Henry.

She is also survived by six nephews and nine nieces, all of whom adored her, and 36 grand nieces and nephews.

She was an extraordinarily kind woman who was always there for her family and friends and will be sorely missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. There will be no viewing. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Reading.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church at the above address.
