Anne R. Leukus

Anne R. Leukus, 93, of Spring Twp., died December 29, 2008 in Berkshire Center.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Anthony A. and Frances (Myslinski) Leukus.

She was a graduate of St. Peter's High School in 1933.

Anne was employed by F.W. Woolworth Co., Reading for over 50 years, retiring as the Human Resource Manager.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield and was formerly a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Anne is survived by her sister, Mary A. Leukus, Berkshire Center; her niece, Elizabeth A., wife of Edward Nierle and two nephews, Raymond A., Jr., husband of Christine Leukus and Andrew A., husband of Cynthia Leukus. Three great-nieces and three great-nephews and eight great-great-nieces and nephews also survive her.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Andrew, John and Raymond A.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the Mass in the church. Edward J.
