Anne T. Duddy

Anne T. Duddy, 87, formerly of Monroe Avenue, Wyomissing, died Nov. 17 in Reading Hospital.

She was taken to the hospital from Country Meadows of Wyomissing.

Her husband, Charles V. Duddy, died Jan. 28, 1979.

Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Nora (Dundon) Donahue.

Duddy was employed for 48 years as a secretary by Beaumont, Heller & Sperling Inc., Reading, retiring in 1982.

She was a 1933 graduate of Reading Catholic High School.

Duddy was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Surviving is a stepson, Patrick J. Duddy, Kutztown R.D. 3; and three stepdaughters: Mary Theresa (Duddy) McNealis, Danville, Montour County; Maureen (Duddy) Hamilton, Shoemakersville; and Margaret Mary (Duddy) Glass, Hamburg.

Other survivors include two sisters, Sister Regina (Donahue) Clare, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Willow Grove, Montgomery County, and Clare P. (Donahue) Flannery, Wyomissing.

There are also seven stepgrandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
