Annamarie Schrope

Annamarie (Janke) Schrope, 86, of Muhlenberg Township, died January 30, 2011 in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township.

She was the wife of Irvin Dexter Schrope, whom she married July 8, 1949.

Born in Reading, PA on October 21, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Erna (Kohler) Janke.

Annamarie was a 1942 graduate of Wilson High School.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Reading.

Annamarie is also survived by a daughter, Kelly A. Medaglia of Mooresville, NC.

She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Janke, Sr.

Services will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, with the Rev. John P. Boyce officiating.
