Anna G. Zackowski

Anna G. Zackowski, 98, of Saddle Court, Spring Township, died March 16 at 11:37 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient three days.

Her husband, John Zackowski, died in 1957.

Born in Montello, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Katie (Hoster) Sell.

Zackowski was employed by the Berkshire Knitting Mills, Wyomissing, and was last employed by the Rosedale Knitting Mills, Laureldale, retiring in 1965.

Surviving is a sister, Helen (Sell) Orth, Shillington.

Other survivors include two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Julianna (Zackowski) Moyer, in 1998.

Graveside services will be private in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
