Anna C. Graffius Snell

Anna C. Graffius Snell, 82, formerly of West Reading, died October 25, 2009 in Stella Maris Nursing Home, Timonium, MD.

Her first husband, Ralph Graffius died in 1985 and her second husband, George Snell died in 1991.

Born in New Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Florence (Lozoskie) Mitchell.

She was employed in the activities department at Berks Heim for a number of years, retiring in 1973.

Anna was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Surviving are two sons, William R., husband of Sharon Graffius, Middle River, MD and James K., husband of Lori Graffius, Bernville. There are two siblings, Victoria Caldwell, Pittsburgh and Albert Mitchell, San Antonio, TX. Three grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Brittany also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum. Friends may call Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in Edward J.
