Anna L. Serina

Anna L. Serina, 84, of Hamburg, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020, in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest.

She was the beloved wife of Bernard F. Serina, who died September 6, 2012.

Born in Lansford, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Anna P. (Misar) Lazar.

Anna was a 1954 graduate of Lansford High School.

She was a member of St. Mary R.C. Church, Hamburg.

Anna was a loving mother, great cook, and a loving soul.

She was an avid reader and big supporter of the Hamburg Library.

Anna is survived by two sons: Steven Serina, Hamburg; and Bernard, husband of Pamela Serina, Canton, Ohio. Several nieces and nephews also survive her.

She was predeceased by one son; Brian M. Serina; three brothers: Michael, Andrew and, John Lazar; and two sisters, Mary Papay, and Eleanor Brunda.

A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at 10 a.m. at Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 South 4th Street, Hamburg. Burial will follow in St. Cyril's Cemetery, Nesquehoning. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Due to the pandemic, please have a mask before entering and practice social distancing.
