Anna G. Scull

Anna G. Scull, 88, of West Lawn, died February 16, 2011 in ManorCare Sinking Spring.

Her husband, Vernon B. Scull, passed away February 8, 2005.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Lucy (Delcamp) Derr.

She was a graduate of Reading High School.

Anna worked at DS&W Hosiery, Reading, for 29 years and then Ripple Twist, Reading, for 16 years.

She was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church, Hyde Park.

Anna is survived by her nephews: Edward H., husband of Kathy L. Doerrman, Blandon and Brian K., husband of Sharon L. Doerrman, Reading. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Bessie E. Derr, Reading. There are many great-nieces and great-nephews surviving.

She was predeceased by her two siblings: Clarence "Tucker" Derr and Betty Jane Doerrman.

Services will be Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. A viewing will be 3 to 4 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
