Anna L. Scindo

Anna L. Scindo, 100, of Temple, passed away September 27, 2014 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Her husband, Mario Scindo, died in 1987.

Born November 28, 1913 in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Annie (Fisher) Bleiler.

Anna worked in several hospitals over 46 years, retiring in 1974.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Anna was predeceased by her brother, Paul Bleiler, Sr., and her sister, Florence M. Oxenrider.

Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in Edward J.Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, PA 19605.
