Anna R. Gring

Anna R. Gring, 89, formerly of Wyomissing, died in Reading Hospital at 4:47 a.m. where she had been admitted earlier in the day.

She was predeceased by her husband Harvey S. Gring who died August 10, 1996.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Elmer F. and Hermie (Hoffa) Reed.

She was a 1934 graduate of Reading High School.

Anna was employed by Springless Shades, Inc., Reading, for 19 years retiring in 1981. She also has won numerous awards for her artwork as an oil-based painter at the Reading Fair, Grings Mills and Sr. Citizen functions. Anna was also an avid world traveler.

She is survived by a son, Terry, husband of Sharon Gring, Bernville, and a daughter, Gail A. (Gring) Juliano, Pocono Pines, PA.

Others survivors include four grandchildren, Marcia Webber, Daniel T. Gring, Todd Gring and Jacob Juliano, and 6 great grandchildren.

Anna was predeceased by four brothers, John, Robert, Leonard and Elmer Reed and also one sister Sarah (Reed) Keim.

Services will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading. Friends may call from noon to 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m..
