Anna S. Mancuso

Anna S. (Walkowiak) Mancuso, 88, of Reading and formerly of West Reading, died of natural causes March 11th at 4:30 pm in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been since March 4th.

She was the widow of Louis S. Mancuso, who died August 23, 1988.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Kerber) Walkowiak.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Mancuso was employed 26 years as an interior decorator by the Reading Wallpaper Company, retiring in 1977.

She was a past president of the PTA at Tyson-Schoener School, Reading, (1951-1953).

Mancuso is survived by a daughter, Diane L. (Mancuso) wife of John J. Rockowicz of Sinking Spring.

She was predeceased by a son, David L. Mancuso, who died November 22, 2004.

Other survivors include three grandsons and one great granddaughter.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 am in Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Third & Franklin Streets, Reading, Pa 19602. Viewing Wednesday 8:00 - 9:00 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. Contributions may be made to the church at the above address.
