Anna Mae Hawk

Anna Mae Hawk, 87, of Reading, died peacefully April 5th in the Reading Hospital.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother to be.

Anna Mae was the wife of the late Robert Hawk and daughter of the late Charles Westervelt and Ruth Seyler.

She was employed for years at the former Bortz Candy Factory. In Later years she worked as a court clerk at Berks County Court House.

She was a former member Ladies Auxillary Birdsboro VFW.

Anna Mae loved playing Bingo and the bus trips to Foxwoods Resorts with her friends.

She is survived by three daughters: Eileen Kennedy, wife of Terry, Kathleen Henn, wife of Douglass, Cynthia Kopicki, wife of Wayne, daughter in law Bonnie Poshefko and sister Dori Portes.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Heather Gevins wife of Michael, Cory Henn companion of Courtney Hertz, Monica Henn, Dr. Kyle Kopicki companion of Sarah Sennert, Keith Kopicki, Ellen Poshefko companion of Jose Figueroa and Ryan Poshefko, husband of Tara.

Anna Mae was predeceased by a grandson, Craig Scott Kopicki, foster son William Poshefko, sister Carol Matz and step mother Irene Amorosa.

Services will be held Thursday, April 9 at 11 a.m., in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
