Anna M. Shappell

Anna M. Shappell, 92 of Shoemakersville died in the Kutztown Manor on January 19th, 2011. She was born in Shoemakersville and was the daughter of the late Morris and Mamie (Madeira) Shappell. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Luke's Church, Shoemakersville. Anna was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Shoemakersville and Leesport Fire Companies. She served as secretary for St. Luke's Sunday school for 50 years from 1934 to 1984. Anna is survived by a niece, Ann Louise wife of Robert Price, Farmington, CT. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Church, 5th and Franklin Streets, Shoemakersville, PA. 19555 Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 noon from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S.4th St., Hamburg.
