Anna D. Konnick

Anna D. (James) Konnick, 84, of Spring Township, died December 25, 2013, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene A. Konnick.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Marguerite (Fisher) James.

She was a 1948 graduate of Reading High School.

She enjoyed bingo, watching the Phillies baseball team and spending time with her grandchildren.

Anna is survived by two daughters, Deborah A. Neifeld, West Reading and Suzanne M. Kline and her life partner, Susan D. Greenfield, Boca Raton, FL; her sister, Alberta Schock, Naples, FL; three grandchildren, Gary, husband of Lea Kline, Andrea Neifeld, fiancée of Joseph Diaz and Trista Neifeld and five great-grandchildren, Felicia Neifeld, Dominic Neifeld, Colin Kline, Tyler Kline and Devin Kline.

She was predeceased by her son, David E. Konnick and two sisters, Laura Zerbe and Vera Eckelmann.

Services will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 9 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, and burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
