Anna M. Kauffman, 92, died April 20, 2010 in her Shillington residence.
Her husband, Leroy J. Kauffman, died in 1979.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William and Laura (Klopp) Bright.
Anna attended Reading High School.
She worked for Bortz Chocolate Inc., Reading, for many years. Before Bortz, Anna worked as a sewing machine operator, sewing the gun powder charges used in WWII.
Anna was a devout Christian. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Church, Mohnton.
She was known as Nana to all. She adored her family, they meant the world to her. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her two daughters: Carol Anne, wife of Arthur E. Brudereck, Sinking Spring and Cathy Lee, wife of Kent J. Lewis, Mohnton. Also surviving are her four grandchildren: Jeffrey W. Brudereck; Jason E., husband of Mindy Brudereck; Kira A., wife of Andy Roberson and Kyle J. Lewis as well as her three great-grandchildren: William E. Brudereck, Maggie E. Brudereck and Lily A. Roberson.
She was predeceased by her siblings: Earl, Elmer, Harold, Elsie, Ruth, Naomi and Viola.
Services will be Friday at 12:30 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be Friday from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Zion Evangelical Church, 57 N. Church St., Mohnton, PA 19540.
