Anna May Hoffman

Anna May (McGovern) Hoffman, 90, formerly of Muhlenberg Township, died of natural causes May 14th at 7:35 pm in Berks Heim, Bern Township, where she had been since April 2, 2004.

She was the widow of Ralph George Hoffman, who died June 25, 1997.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Jennie Elizabeth (McGovern) Babb and Step-Father, Edward Babb.

She was employed a number of years as a topper at Rosedale Knitting Mills before retiring.

Hoffman is survived by a daughter, Barbara A. (Hoffman) wife of Norman Bosold of Spring Township.

Other survivors include three sons, Ralph R. husband of Ann (Reitnauer) Hoffman, Kenneth M. husband of Paula (Faessen) Hoffman and David E. Hoffman, all of Muhlenberg Township.

There are also 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and two great great granddaughters.

Services will be Thursday at 11:00am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing one hour prior to service. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Richmond Township.
