Anna F. Hamm

Anna F. Hamm, 91, formerly of Strausstown died in Promise City, Iowa on June 2nd, 2014. She was the widow of Paul M. Hamm, Sr. who died June 13th, 2012. Anna was born in Perry Township and was the daughter of the late George W. and Eva J. Hartman Woerner. Anna worked as the cafeteria manager for 25 years at the Strausstown Elementary School. She was a member Strausstown Zion's Blue Mountain United Church of Christ in Strausstown. She was a former member of the Women's Club of Strausstown and a past president. Anna is survived by her daughter, Joan L. wife of Clarence Bailey, Promise City, Iowa, 3 sons, Dennis R.husband of Elaine Hamm, Shartlesville, Paul M. Hamm, Jr. husband of June, Shoemakersville and Roger A. husband of Linda Hamm, Shartlesville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM. at the Zion Blue Mountain U.C.C, 6573 Old 22, Strausstown. A viewing will be held Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church. There will also be a viewing Sunday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th St. Hamburg, PA. Burial will be in Strausstown Cemetery.
