Anna (Laury) Fischer, 94, of Reading, died June 19th at 1:08pm in Reading Hospital where she had been since June 12th.
She was the widow of Albert Paul Fischer who died September 1991.
Born February 13, 1912 in New York, NY., she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Rose (Bushelon) Laury.
She was employed a number of years as a seamstress at Diamond Brothers, Reading.
Anna was later employed as an upholsterer at Rachlin Furniture, Sinking Spring, retiring in 1979.
She is survived by a daughter, Joyce L. (Fischer) wife of Larry W. Brendle of Muhlenberg Township and a son Kenneth A. husband of Elizabeth C. (McCrory) Fischer of Jamaica, New York.
Other survivors include two granddaughters, Sabrina K. (Brendle) Stutzman of Hyde Park and Melanie J. Brendle at home.
There are also two great grandchildren, Cade T. Stutzman and Kyla L. Stutzman.
She was predeceased by a son, Ronald Fischer; a daughter, Dolores Fischer and a granddaughter, Laurieanne J. Brendle.
Prayer Services will be Friday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale with Msgr. Dennis T. Hartgen celebrating. Viewing will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. www.christfuneralhome.com
