Anna M. Firestine

Anna M. (Tobias) Firestine, 81, died January 9, 2013, in her Wernersville residence.

Her husband, John C. Firestine, died May 22, 2010.

Born in Hyde Park, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Vera S. (Shirk) Tobias.

Anna was employed as an underwriter for over 30 years for CNA Insurance.

She was a member of St. John's (Hains) Church, Wernersville.

A special thank you to her caregiver Gladwell Mondo for her compassion and dedication over the past year.

Anna is survived by three step-children, Brian, Teresa and John; two sisters, Mary Snyder and Sara, wife of Russell Orrs; and three grandchildren, Christa, wife of Edward Sheetz, Lisa, wife of Christopher Hart and James Lutz. Seven great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Ryann, Aubree, Niah, Cole, Dakota and Sean; two great-great-grandchildren, Ashton and Brielle and two step-grandchildren also survive her.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Rose M. Lutz, February 4, 2006; her grandson, David M. Lutz and two siblings, Grace Hyatt and Charles Tobias.

Services will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in St. John's (Hain's) Church Cemetery.
