Anna V. Exas

Anna V. Exas, 91, of Pennside, passed away on February 16, 2015, at Mifflin Center. She was predeceased by her husband, George Exas in 1992, her sister, Victoria L. Masciotti, in 2009 and a son, Peter S. Exas in 2010.

She is survived by her son, Steven G. Exas of Pennside, her devoted friend and companion Oliver L. Sands of Seminole, FL, her sister-in-law Caroline Exas of Wyomissing, niece Elaine Ermentrout of Allentown and nephew Dean Exas of Boston, MA.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Stanley E. and Kathrine J. (Kruk) Berezowski.

Anna spent most of her life as a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She loved children and animals. She was employed by, among others, the U.S. Postal Service, the former Community General Hospital, the Wyomissing Club of Reading, and Pomeroy's, and as needed at the family business, the former River Road Diner.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Reading.

The family would like to thank the staffs of both Mifflin Center and Country Meadows of Wyomissing for the excellent care they provided Anna in the final years of her life.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, 301 S. 5th Street, Reading, PA 19602. Edward J.
