Anna Elizabeth Boas

Anna Elizabeth Boas, 92, formerly of Laureldale, died October 20, 2014 in Columbia Cottage, Spring Township.

She was the wife of Harold Donald Boas who died September 29, 1996.

Born February 11, 1922 in Lyons, she was a daughter of the late William Allen and Rachael Sarah (Hughes) Drake.

Anna was a 1939 graduate of Ontelaunee High School.

She was employed as a material assembler with Astor Knitting Mills, Reading for ten years, retiring in 1985.

Anna was a member of St. John's Gernant's U.C.C., Leesport.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Anna was predeceased by her brother, Allen Drake; her sister, Helen Spease; her half-brother, Robert Spease and her half-sister, Elaine Licata.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.
