Anna C. (Rossi) Casciano, 93, formerly of Birdsboro, passed away on October 12, 2026, at The
Highlands of Wyomissing, where she had been a resident.
She was the loving wife of Daniel A. Casciano Jr. who passed away December 28, 2017. Anna
met Dan while his band, "The Stardust Quartet", was performing. Anna was Dan's biggest fan
and a groupie. This was the spark that led to their marriage on August 8, 1954.
Born in Birdsboro on November 21, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Benedetto and
Rosina (DiCamillo) Rossi.
She was a graduate of Birdsboro High School in 1950.
Anna was the head of payroll for Birdsboro Armorcast and later served as the secretary for
Robeson Township.
Our mom, grandmom, and great-grandmom was the true matriarch of our family. She loved to
cook and her specialties included homemade spaghetti and meatballs, Italian wedding soup,
and coconut cream pie. Anna enjoyed Bunco with her friends and hated to lose. She also
enjoyed crocheting and even made granny squares for residents of a senior living center.
Nothing brought her greater joy than surrounding herself with her cherished family and friends.
She was kind to everyone, she was engaging, she loved to laugh and to make people laugh. She
left a beautiful legacy that will live forever in our hearts.
She was the loving mother of three children: Linda M., wife of Paul Willey, Malta, NY., Daniel A
Casciano III, who passed away in 1960, and Daniel A. IV, husband of Melanie Casciano,
Wyomissing PA; four grandchildren: Nicholas (Allison), Kathleen (Stephen), Kimberly (Ted), and
Rachel (Zach); and four great-grandchildren: Sophia, Evangeline, Arizona, and Roman. She was
predeceased by three siblings: Victoria Listrani, Antonio Rossi, and Marie Rossi.
