Ann L. Wicks

Ann L. (Woodring) Wicks, 90, died March 18, 2016, in Phoebe Berks Skilled Nursing.

Her husband, Charles W. Wicks, Sr., died in 1973.

Born in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Iva Woodring Amhrine.

She was a graduate of Franklin High School, Randallstown, MD, and served as an administrative assistant for over 30 years.

Ann loved to travel, and was an avid bowler and reader. She was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Family was most important to her. She loved spending time with all of her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son Albert V., husband of Linda L. Wicks, Sinking Spring; two grandchildren, Christy M., wife of Steve Casler, Marlboro, NJ; and Scott M., husband of Sara Wicks, Sinking Spring; and four great-grandchildren, Anna E. and Nolan E. Casler; and Baylie M. and Addison L. Wicks. Three nephews, Bruce, Richard and William Mann also survive her.

She was predeceased by her son Charles W. Wicks, Jr. and her sister, Jane Mann.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Phoebe Berks Chapel, Wernersville. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, and Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. in Phoebe Berks Chapel. Burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Delaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium, MD.
