Ann K. Schadler

Ann K. (Grimes) Schadler, 73 of Hamburg, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010 of natural causes while a patient at Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville. She was born in West Lawn on February 23, 1937 the daughter of the late Mark E. Grimes and Signa A. (James) Grimes. Ann was predeceased by her loving husband, Kenneth L. Schadler on August 29, 2009 to whom she was married for 54 years. Ann was a 1955 graduate of Wilson High School. She held numerous jobs throughout her lifetime, last working for Sovereign Bank in Reading. Ann always loved traveling, cooking and sewing and was proud of her family. Ann is survived by her four children: Barbara Ann wife of Douglas Greim, Hamburg with whom she resided; Lee Ann wife of Roy Degler, Bernville; Dorothy Ann wife of Brian Moyer, Florida; and James Lee Schadler husband of Katrina of Mohrsville. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Jeffrey, Jake, Jessica, Harley, Vitaly and Natasha; and six great grandchildren: Sierra, Autumn, Colt, Lily Ann, Timothy and Harley, Jr. and one sister Alice Fegley in Ohio. Graveside services will be held on Friday June 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton. The Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. Hamburg is in charge of arrangements.
