Ann E. Sapovits

Ann E. Sapovits, 83, of Douglassville, died June 27, 2008 in the Reading Hospital Intensive Care Unit.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family.

Ann was the devoted wife of Charles J. Sapovits, to whom she was married on September 18, 1948.

Born in Clinton, IA, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Clara (Kjorlie) Welch.

She was a graduate of Clinton High School.

Mrs. Sapovits was a veteran of World War II, serving as a WAVES for the US Navy.

She is survived by her son, Thomas C., husband of Laura Sapovits, Delmar, MD and her two daughters, Susan L., wife of Gary Rhoads, Shillington and Cathy A., wife of Michael Duebeck, Leesburg, VA. There is one sister, Claranell Munck, Clinton, IA. Seven grandchildren also survive her. She was predeceased by one brother, George Welch and one sister, Dorothy Welch.
