Ann B. Heiser

Ann B. Heiser, 85 of Hamburg died Friday, April 15th in her residence. She was the widow of William J. Heiser who died October 17, 1999. Ann was born in Philadelphia and was the daughter of the late Norman R. and Marion (Reed) Uber. She was a graduate of West Chester State Teachers College, B.S. and Pennsylvania State University, M.Ed. Ann taught in Lower Merion Township and was a substitute schoolteacher in the Hamburg Area School District. She also assisted her husband in the Dutch Knitting Mill, Hamburg in which her late husband was co-owner. Ann last worked and retired from the Berks County Court House where she worked as a court administrator. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hamburg. Her stepdaughter, Kimberly K. Heiser-Sterner, several nieces, nephews and her beloved dog, Snowflake survive her. A stepson Jeffrey J. Sterner and a sister Mary Jane Schulze predeceased her. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 22nd at 11:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th St. Hamburg, PA. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until time of service.
